So few students showing up the STUDENT senate voted to take 3500 student tickets and sell to the public. Ouch!

Suitcase college
But they are in "great market" 03-wink
Was this really necessary? Been pointed out many times and always leads to controversy.

Even though they are the only show in town, if I didn't follow college football, I probably wouldn't even be aware they had a team. There was a ton of hype before they started, but you don't see anything around town at all. The market argument is garbage.

No kidding, why is this on the SBC board? They're a brand new program not even playing d1 ball yet. Look at the attendance of Georgia state. Talk about throwing rocks in a glass house...
I've got nothing to say about attendance right now....it's hunting season.
MARKETS!

The market argument is not garbage, that is the new world order. College football finally admits that it is all about money and tradition be damned. Television market trumps quality of the program. UNCC is the poster child.

To those living in the Charlotte area who had to endure all the crap from media and UNC Concord fans around here, this is very gratifying. If you don't like it, don't read it.
UNC-Harrisburg has fans?
NOOOO! You mustn't read from the book!!!

You mean kind of like Georgia State, who's managed only one more win in 5 years than UNCC has in 2?

I don't see why not, they came into football with absolute delusion and now reap what they sew.

Not to mention on the CUSA board they stifle all opinion otherwise.

Yup. And neither big market gains any notoriety. About the same as ODU actually. Good luck being anything more than mediocre without your qb next season.

Yeah I don't really see UNCc's continued struggles having much bearing on CUSA/SBC positioning. I think everyone agrees that these two football programs are virtually identical. It's a wash when both conferences made the mistake of adding them.

Yeah, here you can see the few who then left around halftime.

This pic speaks to me on so many different levels...

I should be fair to Georgia State and point out they had 9 wins of their 11 wins in their first two years. UNCC's third year should very much resemble Georgia State's.
