Must be nice to have a 1pm game on a Saturday in November and have the stadium looking like it is what - 75 to 80 per cent full? In Mt. Pleasant with freezing rain this morning. Just glad we could add some money to the MAC coffers at the cost of losing ticket, concession, and parking revenues.
15-14 WMU 2nd quarter.
17-15 cmu
CMU regains the lead 17-15, 4:32 to play in teh first half.
Just looking in on the game occasionally because I can't stand to hear Michael RayGuy talking for very long. Turning volume down helps somewhat. When he starts referring to his "good friend" Bo Schembechler, it's time to lift your feet up to keep the BS from covering them.
WMU goes 99.5 yards in 58 seconds. 22-17.
CMU punts, backs WMU up to their own 2 yard line. WMU gets a TD in about 5 plays, in less than a minute. 22-17 WMU

Watching WMU I am liking their chances against NIU next week. If they do take out NIU thus handing UT the West, the Rockets had better take advantage of it because I can see a WMU dynasty on the horizon because Fleck can recruit and evidently coach as well.
If fleck isn't gone after this year he will be after next year.

In the MAC it is difficult to sustain the program, as soon as Fleck is successful he will be gone. If some one that isn't even successful, like Beckman, gets poached from the MAC, I would be surprised Fleck get some opportunities after this year.
Lets go Western! We need them to win to have steam going into the niu game and so they will be playing for the MAC as well
25-17. Late third
End third

"Dynasty" may be too strong of a word. I suspect that Fleck will be getting some offers after next year if not this year, but (unlike Beckman) Fleck's "biologic coaching clock" still has plenty of time on it so he may be comfortable enough with his current young team to hold out a year or so and wait a bit for the "right" offer to come along but even if he does take the first offer he gets he will leave WMU with enough talent and experience to probably contend for a MACC for at least a couple more years after Fleck departs.

Agreed... But I think we may be underestimating the Talent that UT has. Hunt, Swanson, Jones, Hester are some of the best players in the league and they are only Sophmores
