Yes! Congrats Coach Getman and Blazers!
Unfortunately, basketball plays South Florida Thursday night. Soccer deserves our support, but basketball needs a good crowd too.
Awesome!
So bummed that I can't make it. I have a previous commitment that I can't get out of on such short notice. Definitely get out and support these guys. They deserve it. Basketball deserves support too, but this is a championship tournament, this should win out if you're on the fence.

Tough call, but you have to go with the NCAA Championship, don't you?
I suspect neither will draw flies from UAB fans.

Maybe. It will be cold, but our game against New Mexico last month pulled in 1,139 people...which was probably more than the ULM basketball game's actual attendance.

Probably won't be that high, but should be over 700 because of the NCAA Championship status. Who knows though.
Soccer will probably outdraw hoops.
Regardless of actual, UAB announces soccer attendance as 128,342 and football vs Marshall as 12. Voila! We are a soccer hotbed!
Soccer game starts at 5:30pm; basketball at 7pm

Perfect. I suspect we will have a pretty good crowd at the soccer game. Hopefully basketball does as well. It is supposed to be a little warmer on Thursday, right?

The Elite 8 appearance against Santa clara at West Campus Field was packed in 98/99. It was cold and raining and the place was rocking.
