Tonight he becomes the first former Indiana coach to bring a team into Assembly Hall.

I remember when he pulled UAB out of a pretty good tournament because Indiana was in the field and he didn't want to chance playing them.

Maybe he is maturing.
I miss his postgame interviews.. and defense.
Has he been humbled by his downward trajectory big 10, cusa, swac. After taking that plunge its hard to act like big s%÷/.
He looks so young in the photos from that article
Down 5 13-18
83-64

If we're projecting that means his next move might be back to the SIAC

Everyone knows I am a Mike Davis fan, what some here perceived to be arrogance in Mike, I saw as an introvert in a extroverted profession..
Now looking back to the future, our coaches, players and fans are being screwed by the same administration that most here thought Mike was not loyal too., makes you say, hmmmmmm.
As a UAB supporter and sport fan, the way the current situation with athletic is being handle, and the way most here demonized XCMD, the Oliver Hazard Perry quote, Ironically made famous in a pogo comic strip, comes to mind "We have met the enemy and they are us".
Ray watts was not president when Davis was here. The only thing Mackin did wrong regarding Davis was putting up with him as long as he did. Mackin didn't tell Davis not to have study sessions on road trips. Mackin wasn't the one who couldn't win conference tournament games.
Read what you want MB, but don't add things to my post.. I was speaking of the UAB culture that is engrained in leadership, prohibiting them from speaking out. Watts, Garrison and Mackin will remain quiet go with the flow and get paid, even while OUR sports programs suffer because of the culture and the enemy within..

Whether Mike deserved to be let go or not matters little to me, but you seems to know the answers, so rehash it if you want. but don't include me in your attempts to stir things. Mike is coaching in Texas and appears to be okay doing what he loves..

My coach is named Hasse UNLIKE SOME HERE, I will continue to support our Basketball and other sports team, regardless of the enemy within who are killing UAB athletics.
