We talked about a team which would have more offensive weapons but lack the great interior defense (read that Riley).
We have three big dudes in the middle. Two scoring weapons in Ward and Lee. Three PGs who can play in this conference with Talley being the wily veteran. And two PFs who can get points and rebounds; basically role players.
I know I've posted that this team is probably 10 or 11 players deep (players who can play in the MAC).
10 or 11 MAC players really that not saying much about the MAC.
Offense! This is what we all wanted. If we can continue to score like this AND win, people will get behind this team. Nice win...how does Oakland keep finding those pure shooters though? Hooper was unconcious.
I agree, Bob. A full student section tonight. Great to get an exciting win like this over a program that people respect in the area, right in front of hundreds I students.

I like quality over quantity. As has been posted on here Oakland lost a lot of talent from last years team and the only reason people like you are so excited is because they played Iowa st tough.why are you so much like steve?

Actually, Oakland has developed into a rivalry of sorts (more so then say CMU) because in recent years the games have been good ones (because of Bader-ball).
A quality win no doubt about that. Lee showed he is as good as he wants to be and can take over a game. Shooting much improved. We have a tough back to back weekend coming up but yes those of you who said our bench looked good appear to be correct so far. Alvano came back to earth but I expect ups and downs.

Not unhappy with the win but not with all the all the hyperbolae from this board. I am very happy with win any home win brings the fans which is great! But most of you on here are starting to sound a lot like, not to worry it will get better Steve during the boone years!
