Well the BigTen has pretty much sorted itself out but there are a few spots still up for grabs, especially in the Big Ten West, where the top 4 teams will finish their round schedule the next 2 weeks.
Another thing we have learned from NW, Iowa and Minnesota is that blow out wins and losses don't do a good job of predicting a team's performance the next week.
1. OSU
A solid win on the road over a good Minn team the week after the big win against MSU. OSU is without question #1 right now.
2. MSU
Since its only 2 losses are to OSU and Oregon, thats enough to rank above the BigTen west 2-loss teams.
3. Wisc
Melvin Gordon for the Heisman. Now if somebody can just explain that NW loss.
4. Minn
I am convinced. Minnesota is a good team.
5. Neb
Was looking good until Wisc ran over them. Chances for division title are low now but not impossible.
6. Iowa
Hard to justify jumping Iowa over Md, but it is probably just because Iowa has more motivation right now to win its next 2 games.
7. MD
not good enough to beat the good teams
8. Mich
Team has 50/50 chance to make a bowl.
9. Nw
The big paradox. Good enough to beat Wisconsin, PSU and Notre Dame. Bad enough to lose to everybody else. Still has a chance to be bowl eligible if they can beat Purdue and Illinois.
10. PSU
Bowl elligible.
11. Rutgers
Bowl elligible.
12. Purdue
Improved this year but did not get many more wins. Will not ho bowling this year
13. ILL
Wes Lunt was not the answer. ILL played really bad for a team coming off the bye. Not a good sign. Still a chance for a bowl
14. Indy
Poor Tevan Coleman. He deserves better. Indy will not be bowling this year.
