EMU women play nationally ranked MSU Sunday afternoon.

Maybe I'm getting ahead of things, but I think this could be a very good EMU women's team. WMU football was the surprise of fall, might the EMU women be the surprise of winter in the MAC? 03-idea

I'm guessing this year's team has the talent of the Tavelyn James led teams but will take a while to see who becomes the leader ala James.

I see some really, really good guards in Sweeney, Morton, and Dailey. Forwards Bucknor and come second semester, Puni.

The front court is experienced. The back court is young and very, very talented.
EMU trails by 6 with 6 minutes to go. EMU coming back.

EMU once led by 7 (in the 1st half).
Cut lead to 4 with 2+ minutes to go before losing by 8.

Chad Bush mentioned during the broadcast that Verdi thinks Puni, a 1st semester sitout, will be the best post player in the MAC.

This team has big, big potential.

Not a surprise at all for those few of us that follow women's basketball. 07-coffee3 tony a straight talking coach in the same fane as Kim is.
