Let's look at the numbers. Defending National Champion. Preseason #1, won 26 in a row. One of only 2 undefeated teams (other is Marshall), ANYONE who votes for anyone besides FSU as number 1 this week needs to have their vote taken away from them.
how many top 25 wins do they have?

This is college football. What happened last year or the before has no bearing on previous years. Guys graduate or transfer or get hurt. Hell, if that's the case, tOSU is 33-1 in their last 34 regular season games.

Funny no one made that argument last year when Bama played poorly the first half of the season barely scratching out wins. In fact they claimed the opposite that until they are beaten the defending champions if ranked #1 preseason should remain #1 until they are beaten. You can't argue both sides of the issue.

Oh, I would NEVER have argued that on behalf of BAMA or any sec team. However, IF a majority of a team has returned (the important players) then that argument has SOME merit.

yeah if you count those games when they got caught cheating and on probation. convenient to add regular season to your little factoid.


maybe one day slowhio state and urban crier will beat a southern team and earn some respect.
