In the Cincinnati-East Carolina football game, UC went for it on their on 30 yardline 4th and about 3 to go, with about 3 minutes remaining in the game and were up 5 points. (I couldn't believe they weren't punting.)
With that gun slinger Kiel (sp), UC called a run option left.......... miserable fail. He missed the pitchman and East Carolina recovered the ball on about the 20 yard line, going in........
Do you guys think UT's OC Jason Candle somehow hijacked UC headsets and called that play for them??????
After the game, which UC somehow came back, UC Head Coach Tommy T. called that a terrible play to call in that situation.

We would have stood a better chance running the option with Macon / Hunt, than that damn bubble screen 3 yds behind the los.

In both situations (games), wrong personnel for the play called.
If it's 4 yards to go, call for a 6 yard pass!!!!!!!!
The last time we ran a successful bubble screen Carl Ford was wearing the blue and Gold.
