I like the idea but I think it should not be a personal attack. I would go with something classier like "Keep UAB Football #FreeUAB"

I agree that the guy is a weasel... I just am trying to think of the way to win... I think getting normal people to see what is happening will create pressure - I am afraid if we attack the attack dog... we may get bitten even harder. That said... put up a sign!
