Yeah and used to be in the Belt. Then dropped down and now back in Southland.
Arkansas State will announce its schedule once Illinois State and Northern Colorado figure out when they are coming to Jonesboro. They apparently both believe they are playing us February 13th-15th.

I guess you missed the whole debate about the Conference Basketball Tournament last year? That thing is being held at the University of New Orleans right now.

Baseball is a sport the Sun Belt can make some noise. I am looking forward to seeing Ga. Southern playing new teams this year in conference.

Just FYI, they do have a good history. They have 14 NCAA Tournament appearances in baseball. That's more appearances than every Sun Belt team except USA (25); they are tied with Louisiana Lafayette (14). For reference Georgia Southern has 13 appearances.

I know how many appearances we have.

I also had never heard of them. Wasn't saying they weren't good or didn't have a good history.

UNO actually made a trip to the CWS back in the day. They actually hurt our RPI last year though.

Pretty much how it was their last couple years before leaving, they finished last in practically everything.

Their last year was pretty surreal, their entire team were recruitable athletes since they were going to D3, they could transfer for free. There were numerous situations of coaches sliding business cards to players in the hand shake line.

Just wanted to say that I always respected UNO back when they were in the conference. Their baseball team was always good.
