For at least the second time, the ADG beat writer for UALR in today's paper repeated that the men's team lost in the semifinals of the 2014 SBC Tournament. Wrong. The Trojans lost to ASU in the quarters, not one win away from the championship game.
Facts are not needed

I thought that only applied to Wally Hall at the ADG, not the entire staff.

Well to be fair, I assumed we had lost that game at least 3 times during the course of the night. He might have been confused.
Here I go assuming again, but I'd guess that the UALR beat reporter is assigned to report on the Trojans, and doesn't give a rats ass about the program. Jeff was evidently one who took it seriously and really cared for the Trojans. So, this is about what I'd expect from a half-assed newspaper, and one that has a half-pint and half-assed sports editor. And even Doc, who really likes Wally small, would have to admit that I'm at least half right in my assessment, the half-pint part anyway.
I enjoy reading Wally. Do I believe he's always right? No. Does he sometimes get the facts incorrect? Probably. But I just enjoy reading his column. I just go along with the theory that since I'm not always right, I can't expect other to be. As to his size, at the rate I'm shrinking, I'll be looking up to him soon.
