I responded that IF they terminate football, then take me off the list. I'm waiting for the responce myself. The responce they gave KevMo seems to tell me a decision has already been made.

That was an automated response because he responded directly to the e-mail and didn't forward/respond to Watts/Mackin only.

That doesn't mean anything. Most mass email programs are configured to automatically unsubscribe a recipient based on keywords. There is no human reading responses to a mass mailing, manually unsubscribing folks, and writing them a response.
I did not hit reply. I forwarded mine to M & W.
I already am going by the ticket office Wednesday and talking to someone when I purchase my USM tickets.

If you kill the football program, or stand back and allow it to be killed, I am completely done with UAB as whole. I will not donate a penny. I will no longer purchase season tickets to any sport, including the 4 basketball seats and 2 baseball seats I currently have purchased for numerous years. I will make every attempt to influence potential UAB students to other universities. This isn’t about football, this is about integrity and transparency in a publicly funded state university.

I got one of those emails from the office of giving about estate planning. I forwarded it to the president and the AD saying there could not have been a more ill timed email in the history of email

That's funny, nowhere in "This week in UAB Athletics" did I read "Another attempt to close the UAB Football program was exposed this week..."
