Apparently, Cummings is no longer the president of the NAS. Who is?

We are our own worst enemy at times. Just because someone isn't taking the same approach as you in the timeframe you want doesn't mean things aren't happening.

I believe so. And doesn't the tag design tie in well with the billion dollar fund raising campaign? Hmm? My tag is renewing this month. I either get stickers for my old personalized tag or I'll put a blazer sticker over the UAB and get a UAB Blazers tag holder. Snoozys should sale a kit!

They do have a mini sticker set at Snoozy's. I put a Blaze head under the UAB logo.

Isn't it funny how many things have gone anti-athletics recently?

Less dragon, more UAB logo, deflated attendance numbers, HUGE capital campaign with no football upgrades, 3 year contract for Clark,...

It's all been planned. And we figured it out early and threw a wrench in their plan. Now, the fight is on!!

My resolve for UAB has never been stronger. We can win because we want it more than they do!!

Be wary. Some overzealous ***hole cop may still pull you over anyway for "altering" your car tag.

Absolutely, all of this! God as my witness, my "red flag" went up when "Blaze" as taken off the car tags, but no one ****ed with Auburn's or "Updyke U", I'm not putting that tag with that boring barely readable logo on my car. But I'm with you, too much of a cramdown about "knowledge that will change your world" , slowly but surely, the UAB campus is being stripped of its' total essence, of which the athletic program and "Blaze" are a huge part of. Take them all away, and watch what happens next...

I'd sure like to hear from one of their representatives as to why they did this. They're on my "list" too.

Good question. I've heard or seen nothing from them on this. But by the mere virtue of having "Blaze" removed from the car tags sends a disturbing message to me where they're concerned, as well as their recent run of silence. I'll keep this in mind next time they send me something in the mail asking for a contribution.

They are making excuses and giving the company line.

I just emailed them and asked them point blank why they signed off on having "Blaze" taken off the car tags and their official stand on the UAB Football situation...No, I'm not holding my breath awaiting a response, but if they stay in the shadows on this, I'm going to stay away from them when they send me stuff in the mail asking for money. Communication is a two way street, not a one lane highway.
