@NickPiotrowicz: Campbell said it will be a gametime decision for the starting QB.

@NickPiotrowicz: Campbell said MRI revealed no structural damage in Logan Woodside's ankle. He could play vs. NIU.

@NickPiotrowicz: Matt Campbell said Greg Mancz could've gone back in at Kent State. Said he should play vs. NIU.
@NickPiotrowicz: Campbell said WR Dwight Macon will be the emergency QB at Northern Illinois. Threw a pass on a trick play earlier.
@NickPiotrowicz: Jeff Myers: "With the way [Mancz] was screaming out there, I thought he got his head cut off."
@ToledoFB: Campbell "We will see how (Woodside) responds to treatment and certainly how he practices."

LOL, maybe this is all a ruse...

Confident in hearing about Mancz...Woodside, I'm still not so sure.
I missed the hit on woodside, but thought the knee shot to Mancz was kinda shady.
My suggestion is we alternate Hunt, Swanson, and Jones-Moore in wildcat formation. We keep running until NIU proves they can stop it.

We will run, run, and run. Watched NIU against Ball State, they did not impress me. Ball State had 5 turnovers which cost them 21 pts. Hoping Woodside will be okay, but if not, run, run, run.

Hey, we were up 23-0 on Kent and have up two 40+ yard runs which turned into points. Then our Center and QB went down. Still beat Kent by more than NIU did. Still beat CMU by 14 and NIU got beat by as much. If NIU wins, great. They beat a beaten/battered as hell Offense and a terrible passing defense. I would bet on Toledo by 2 TD's with our offense to start the season. If we STILL pull one out vs. NIU...That will be embarrassing.

And NIU has been without our best LB, WR, and one of our top returning RBs all season as well...so whats your point? Injuries happen, its football. No win/loss is embarassing unless it becomes a blowout which should not be the case in this game no matter who wins.
NIU has been on a nice little run, but we beat them 11 straight years between 1990 and 2004. Now that's dominance.

Oh we lost kareem for four games, two starting corners and a starting DE as well but none matter like losing the chief of your offense... Twice.

Nobody cares haha. It's November, everybody has injuries. If injuries somehow helps you feel better about losing, whatever floats your boat.
Julian will be fine with all the reps in practice knowing he probably will start as I said in a post a few week ago in the MAC in you need to give your backup a couple of series in the second quarter as long as you are still in the game to develop depth at QB, long term he will be better than Woodside anyways.
If Julian has a good game, and the defense gives up a ton of points then so be it. We lost, and I'll live. If we don't get a first down until the 3rd quarter and we score under 21 points... yeah, I'm going to say we have awful luck and this should have been the year for Toledo to win the weak MAC.
