He also said back in 2010 that the nation isn't a Monarchy; that as President, he couldn't just make laws up himself, but had to sign laws that the congress passed.

Let's be honest, I'm not sure Obama wanted to be president at all, certainly not the 2nd term.

Of course he wants a Dem senate, he wants it to be easy. He's an actor, not a doer.

Agreed, he wanted to get Obamacare passed and then ride off into the sunset on his "glorious victory".

And I think when he snapped at Major Garrett at the press conference, it showed.. He knows he's not going to be able to do anything right now, other than veto bills (and hope they dont' get overturned)... but he's not a happy person at htemoment.

No, he wanted to be God.

He was/is to many people.

I just finished a book on the Russian Czars and he reminds me of Nicolas II. He didn't want to be Czar either and left his wife and Rasputin to govern the country and thus contributed to the monarchy's downfall.
