We can use all the support of our conference brothers.
Wow that is messed up! Did not realize UAB football was in this predicament....hopefully you guys can fight it like we did at WKU in mid 90's and save the program! Rooting for you guys!
What is the best way other CUSA fans can help?
When articles come out comment on them. Right now use social media for support. Re-tweet and comment. We will post them on BlazerTalk when they appear.

Thanks,
How realistic of a threat is this? Could Bama really shut you guys down just like that?

Appears they've finally gotten a UAB President that might be on their side. They hired him from the medical side of campus, which doesn't support very much of the undergrad activities.

I just noticed you guys haven't scheduled anything past 2016...which gives credence to the letter.

You've got my support, no one deserves to have their program shut down. No matter how much we make fun of you guys...
Our concern is football but there is really a giant shot across the bow to the entire undergraduate program at UAB. The trustees think UAB is best served being just a medical extension of UA.
You can help by making positive comments in support of UAB on this article.

So if the latter is the truth that would mean the entire Athletic Dept. would be shutdown.
Stay strong Blazers. That's pure BS! You have the support of Herdnation.
Let us know when and where we can help.
I support UAB, really like the school and athletics. I just have one question. If UA never wanted UAB to be successful in football, why did the UA BOT then grant UAB a football program? It just makes no since to me.

Trust me, I've ask this question a 1000 times.
Man that sucks for UAB. Even the talk is bad. I wish you guys the best. I was wondering what would you guys would do with your basketball program if the worst happened. But it looks like the talk might be to shut it all down.

But that doesn't make sense, at all. Basketball is viable (it actually thrives).

Maybe this is just a threat to try and put the squeeze on UAB alumni to start donating more.
This sucks for UAB and I thought that could not hate Bama anymore than I do but I guess I was wrong. Maybe the Tide is running out of money having to bump Saban's pay every year or something? Another example where college athletics is becoming more and more like a semi-pro league. I live in Huntsville and you'll have my support in state.
If the worst case scenario happens and UAB has to end their football program, I hope we allow them to stay and simply replace them with a football only school.
Wonder what the Auburn folks have to say about this ?

Good luck and best wishes to all of my Blazer friends.

You guys have had an uphill battle from day 1 and your fight has been successful. Not many people know just how successful y'all have been when all of the obstacles you've had in your way are taken into consideration.

Hopefully this is more smoke than fire.

Again, good luck and best wishes in this fight.
what does Bear Bryant's son have against UAB? He seems to always be trying to hold them back
