I understand being punished but why a fine? NBA execs just getting paid it seems. Would make more sense to see him do something in the community or talk to young (or old) about controlling anger or emotions. Maybe I'm overthinking it and I could be wrong I suppose the league might use this money constructively.
$15,000 is "big balls dance" money. Not a serious fine for what was ultimately not a very serious incident. Let's all move on.

I believe at least part of the fine is given to charity.
