Julius Whittier, the first African-American football player in Texas Longhorns history, has filed a $50 million class-action lawsuit against the NCAA, KEYE reports.
Whitter, who played on the 1969-72 Longhorns teams, claims repeated head injuries caused the health injuries he has today. Whittier was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2012.
