we are going to get a big dose of their rb. at times, teams have been able to run all over us. we need to get back into that 4 down look, run heavy d... cant let them get big chunks off run plays... i think the game will be pretty even yardage wise, who converts in the redzone will determine this game. have to give our offense the edge on pts scored but have to give their d the edge on getting stops. based on that, i'd say:

Lou Holtz once said about his coaching stint at William and Mary that he had too many Mary's and not enough Williams! Same holds this year. Excited for a long overdue trip back to the Burg for my (gulp!) 30th reunion. Dukes 31-23!!

The Tribe defense is only marginally better. They were hyped pre season to be the best defense in the CAA, They were decent OOC (outside of VT they really didn't play anybody) but have been medicore at best in CAA play. I guess injuries- I remember a Tribe poster talking about that on CS back in early Oct.
Not sure where you got 4 sacks a game. All games they avg about 3.4 a games (27 in 8 games). CAA games only they avg 3.25 a game (13 in 4 games) to JMU's 4.25 (17 in 4 games).

Sure JMU's defense has mostly sucked, but W&M's offense isn't that good. Not ready to post a prediction yet (will Fri) but I think can keep W&M's offense to upper 20s to low 30s. JMU gets to mid 30s think will win.
