Made it to the 'Boro..er..Murfreesboro. Had the long trip from Franklin...32 miles.
I was in section K...me and my Sweetie..the only ones in Section K...we left with 5 min. remaining in the game..
I knew we were going to lose at the end of the third quarter when we were ahead 22-21.
The coach needed to shorten the game. UAB had the ball 1st and 10 with less than a minute left in the third quarter. UAB ran the ball and with less than 30 seconds left in the third UAB should have ran out the clock and had the second down play at the start of the fourth quarter. But No, UAB ran a play. WHY run a play when you don't have too? UAB should play a short game and run the clock as much as possible...huddle up and stop the hurry up offense.

See everyone next September in Downtown Nashville when we face the Vols...again. Looks like UAB will play UK in 2016 in Lexington

We need to contact CUSA to keep UAB in the east..good road trips (for me) to Western KY (Bowling Green) and to MTSU (the 'Boro) and not too bad of a trip to Huntington, WV
This is not the uab of the last ten years
Yeah I didn't really like that call either. But I can't blame Bill too much. The "playing not to lose" mentality is what yielded a whole lot of close losses under Watson. It was painful in 2005 to watch us lose back-to-back games by one point.
You can do both - run out the clock when it is under 40 in the quarter & hurry it up other times.
