In before Panther fans complain about Kevin Ware being omitted.
Not to pick at nits, but Shawn Long is a Junior, not a Senior.
I think App's ranking is very generous......03-wink

At least we weren't 12th 02-13-banana

As to the players list, if Tab Hamilton finishes the season on the 3rd team All Sun Belt then I would be very happy.

He is injured and a wild card. I get that. No static from me.
I think Troy could be higher as well as stAte.
Not that it would be a huge surprise considering where they are picked but I think ULM could be a surprise to contend for the title. Coach Richard is a very good coach who got their APR nightmare fixed and I think they could surprise some people.

With 9 new players and no returning starters, we're almost impossible to place. We could be pretty darn good, or pretty bad...or we could be our usual mediocre selves.

GS is too low.
Eric Ferguson is ostensibly back for Georgia Southern. He's a second-team, maybe a first-team talent.

This might the be most talented basketball team we have for a while so we really need to make the best of it.
Guarantee -- South Alabama finishes higher than ninth.
Yes! they put us at the bottom of the preseason rankings. 02-13-banana
Honestly don't know much about the team, but have been hearing for almost a year that this is probably the most talented team we've had in a long time (if ever). I predict we surprise a couple teams and finish mid-table. 04-rock

Yep; if Hewitt really is first-team All-SBC, that alone should keep the Eagles higher than 9th.

He is back?! Link please? That kid is a baller!
GS will be in the 3-5 range with Ferguson, but even without him they could be better than stAte, ULM, USA.

Actually, Shawn is a junior this year ... but you may as well consider him a senior, because it lookis like he is a projected first rounder, and will likely declare for the NBA draft like Elfrid did.
4 other Cajuns that will be in some level of All Conference after the year is finished:

Ok State transfer Brian Williams
PG Jay Wright from Ga
Devonta Walker
Kasey Shephard
Expectations here at Ga. Southern are not real high for our basketball team. Realistically if we can finish in the top 5 this year I would call it a big success.
