I remain astounded at how far VT has dropped off in the last 3 seasons. This (pending) loss doesn't necessarily eliminate them mathematically from the division, but for all intents and purposes, they're about to be eliminated.

London and UVa have been hurting VT on the recruiting front for the last three years or so and it's showing. There's 6-8 guys starting for UVa that would have been at VT 8-10 years ago.

Everybody but vt knew they were circling the drain. Now they've crossed the event horizon and even vt has to realize that now.

I'm going to hate to see what BC is going to do to VT next week. I left at half time when we had 36 total yards and -12 rushing yards. First time I've ever left that early.

I bet Kaplony is happy tonight, just heard Clemson and TAMU have schedules a home and home for 18 and 19. That should be a good series.

Impressive win Miami!

It's bad for VT when the highlight of the first 58 minutes is a blocked PAT. 90 seconds from ending a 250 game streak of not being shut out. I won't say Beamer can't turn it around but he sure seems to be well into that zone where your long tenured esteemed coach has lost it but hangs on off the reputation.

Nice game from the Canes other than why in the world did Golden keep Duke in the game so long? Was he waiting for him to get banged up before resting the guy?

We have had several fun games the past several years, I thoroughly enjoy playing Miami and think this years game could be another high scoring affair. I do think Duke Johnson will carve up our D line though….
