After the giants won the series early. Fox was showing that game if necessary. Now we got that slot but only in wv market. Another network picked up baltimore and maryland area.

Thanks to our crap tv package, almost the whole country wont get to see a top 25 team play tomorrow if they wanted to.

You're being foolish. This year CUSA teams have had more coverage than ever. In the past most years UAB has been on tv 2-3 times a year and one of those would have been as the body bag victim early in the season. This year after 10 straight losing seasons UAB had 11 of its 12 games on tv and EVERY one has been a Saturday game. That's not a crap tv package. For a conference of our stature it's pretty f'n amazing. Before the first realignment there were seasons when UAB would only have one game the entire year on tv. When we had espn coosa would get the exposure once a week but you count on it being Thursday night and that was before Thursday became a big night. Our oft maligned conference leader did well on the ASN deal. Adding all those tv markets seems to have worked out.
I mean it might not be up to Marshall's standards or anything, but our TV deal seems like a huge upgrade to me too. We're on broadcast TV locally, in HD. That hasn't been the case in a long time.
Isn't one person talking about Marshall's game today whereas the other is talking about our game with Marshall in a few weeks?
Yes. I was trying to figure out what the Giants had to do with anything.
Yeah. I was talking about this game vs FIU. Dont know why.

As far as the tv package, difference in being on TV and being on TV people can watch. Local coverage is good and all but FS1 and CBSSN are the only 2 good tv networks we have. We get like 2 games on them a year where you dont have to buy a special sports pack or something. I like watching other cusa games and analyzing other members teams but i just get a couple maybe a week i can watch even with directv everything package.
I was squirming on Saturday because I could not easily pick up our game anywhere.
I instead listened to the broadcast.

Back in the day, we would be lucky if 1 or 2 of our games were on television.
