Quote:4. Your first bowl-eligible teams in 2014. Heading into late Saturday night, Florida State, Baylor, Notre Dame, Marshall and Mississippi State are your first bowl-eligible teams in college football this season. Georgia Tech fell out of the ranks of the unbeaten by losing to Duke. An under-the-radar team that may actually make a bowl in 2014: UAB. The Blazers already have four wins as they eye their first bowl appearance in a decade.

UNC looked good against Notre Dame today, but not quite good enough.
I'm glad CBS mentioned us, the sorry ABC affiliate 33/40 mentioned Auburn, Alabama, Miss, LSU, Okla, Baylor before any mention of the home team. I think Mackin needs to revoke their press previledges and make the sorry b,s buy a ticket to see UAB football and basketball!!

Wow. They must think the SEC is sending a lot of teams to the selection committee bowls. I'm not sure I like those odds. Hopefully we can get into a bowl without that happening.
This is when coaching is going to really shine through with all the inevitable look ahead business...

If you think about it, going into this away stretch especially it's damned near impossible to not play the "what ifs". I'm fighting myself with it right now as a fan. Can't imagine what it's like as a coach or player.

Pretty much every local sports crew blows except for surprisingly NBC.

NBC would blow if they didn't have their 30 minute sports show every night.
