Chips are up 17 with about 10:30 left in the fourth quarter. Kickoff coming up on a 34-17 game in DeKalb
Huskies Homecoming too...
From watching most of the fourth quarter, it is clear that the NIU OL is not in the top two in the MAC.

Date with reality.
NIU drive stalls and miss a field goal.

Rawls has rambled for 252 yards on 35 carries to go with two TDs with 4:10 left.
They are done....unless a miracle happens or CMU is forced to forfeit all its games
If toledo loses to niu and there is a 3 way tie at 7-1 cmu will probly hav toughest east crossover and go. I wanted niu to win because no matter what we have to beat them... Unless they lose again in the MAC and beat us...
NIU will struggle with WMU and lose to Ball State in Nov.

We had better not lose 2 MAC games, but it is very possible.

Don't see NIU not losing again.
We have put ourselves in great position if Woodside happens to go down...Not!!
I was beginning to think doom and gloom for our MAC West hopes. Now, we control our own destiny...
Toledo is in charge. NIU could not stop the run and while the Chips front line performed well the Rockets OL are in a league of their own. I am also thinking Hunt will be back by Nov. 11.

Final: CMU 34 NIU 17
NIU scores 17 points back-to-back.

If Hunt is back, his running will allow us to get a few more WR screens in.

NIU had serious offensive issues right now. We are the team to beat in the West.

Nothing has really changed all that much---the Rockets controlled their own destiny yesterday and they still do today. However, if Toledo loses to NIU then as it stands today UT will still have a slim change to go to Ford Field but UT will need help to get there and will not control its own destiny---that too has not changed all that much from yesterday except now a three way tie would be more likely if UT loses at NIU.

Actually what has changed is that CMU has shown that NIU can be beaten in DeKalb under the right circumstances and that in itself should provide the Rockets with some comfort and hopefully incentive to bring their A game to DeKalb on November 11. Before that however, there are the matters of UMass and Kent.
Wonder if G-string still thinks that RB corps is the deepest in the MAC...110 yds total today

Sarcasm toward our schemes...if we run it enough, it has to work vs. do what you do best until they stop it
