I don't have the stomach to watch that. Would someone care to summarize? Any worthwhile comments?
that presser was a heavy dose of bullsh@t. Burning redshirts isn't a strategy. Shouldn't the shortcomings been apparent at Higher Ground,,and
those personnel moves affected preseason?

Or is TT going to keep tagging the schedule as a reason?
UGh, did they ever go to a defensive front of more than 4? I don't recall it! One front I did see multiple times last week, 3 man front with Mouhan/Hartsfield split wide to jam a WR - never saw that formation in 3 weeks prior. Only thing I've seen is a 3/4 man front on rollerskates with linebackers 5-8 yds off the ball, safeties trying to cover holes left by either the LB's or DB's. Maybe the scheme doesn't fit the personnel - kind of like last year and the offense.
I think your on to something FLIP. We saw this before with this staff just last year.

Remember that minute when we were enthralled with how nice it was to have a coach who didn't bs in pressers? 03-lmfao

That was utter bullsh!t. He somehow pulled it off. Zero substance, a steady dose of cliches, and a feel and mood that rivaled Jimmy Carter's "malaise speech".
Tips on a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience when watching his pressers or reading his quotes on Groeschen's feed?

1. When watching, play an audio loop of Boots Randolph's Yakity Sax in the background.

2. When reading, the inner voice you hear saying quotes like "we teach em to tackle high" and "we coached em up too much" must only be Leonard Nimoy's.

You will all thank me later.
How dumb does he think we are?

This year is a harder first 4?

Hardest last year - IL, PURDUE, MIAMI, NORTHWESTERN STATE (FCS) 2 Big 10, MAC, FCS
Hardest this year - OH, MEMPHIS, TOLEDO, MIAMI Big 10, AAC, 2 MAC

I would say it's about a push.

Much tougher this year, not that that should be an excuse. Illinois and Purdue turned out the be bad Big 10 teams, Miami didn't win a game and we had a bad FCS school. This year we had O$U on the road, A good Memphis team that pushed 2 top 10 schools to the brink on the road, a little better Miami team and a Toledo team that is always a solid team. There were some comments I didn't like, but no way to argue with the first four being much harder.

Purdue and Miami-Ohio were awful last year. The other game was an FCS squad. Illinois was talented but overall not a very good team by Big Ten standards.

Miami-Ohio is better this year. They went from being the worst team in football to one that will compete and win a couple of games by the end of the year. Ohio State is a top 10 team based on talent alone. Memphis is a top 40 team this season and a dark horse to win the conference. Toledo is a top 60 team, upper level MAC team that should make a bowl game.

Last year UC played one tea that was in the top 75 and they lost that game. This year UC has played three bowl teams with one of them being a road game against a team with elite talent.

Lets see what happens after this weekend when UC plays SMU, USF, and Tulane. Those three games have to be UC victories. If the Cats are 5-3, the ECU game might actually have something on line.

Song that can't help but make you smile. Especially if you loved Bennie Hill

I hear it in my head sometimes when watching bad youth baseball.

03-lmfao THAT is why this place is so dang great.

Outstanding!

See? Makes it way more enjoyable. I think UC should consider piping it in at the podium.
