According to a poster on BuckeyePlanet who is close to the Colerain program, he will be your Defensive Coordinator. He might be able to snag a few recruits from the Buckeyes (Eugene Clifford, for one).

they already named the D coor. name is Tresey I believe, but he could be a position coach

Now that would be a nice early Christmas present. Nothing better than beating out OSU for a recruit after the game this weekend. Cool.

Clifford is still committed to OSU, but it's going to be a nail-biter till signing day.

looks like Ohio State might have to up their cash kitty to get Clifford now. Hey, it worked for Clarette and your basketball team, I am sure O$U can come up with more somewhere.

Landing Coombs was absolutely huge for the UC football program. Brings instant local media attention and he's a great coach and motivator...

this should really help in getting in on the younger guys in the GCL before other schools see their talent

He said he'd go head to head and beat OSU in recruiting battles in his intro presser. Not a bad start if this is all true.

That hasn't stopped OSU in the past from taking kids. Either way, there is a good chance Clifford is headed to UC now...
