I must confess that I would not have picked ECU, Temple and Memphis to be the Top three teams in the American at week six. The conference is really balanced this year.

I get Temple and Memphis, but I don't see where ECU is much of a surprise

I would say ECU and Memphis have proven to be top teams. Temple while improved this year us not on the same level yet.

I think by the end of the year, the talent of UCF will be evident as Holman gets more experience. A win versus BYU could really get the Knights on a roll. We'll see. Never discount experience.

We will know before then. While they should beat Tulsa after that they have Houston,UCF,aeCU and Memphis. By the time the Memphis game arrives we will know if Temple is a contender or a middle of the pack team. I'm leaning towards the second
