Not only are we rebuilding, but we just came off an emotional win 3 nights ago and we couldn't hit the pacific ocean in a row boat.

If we played our absolute best game (which we may have done Wednesday night) we probably still don't beat this O$U team.

Our tallest player is 6'8" and we played when healthy, the best college basketball player in a LONG, LONG time.

This game is just going to be a blip on the radar come March, because the healthier Oden gets, the more dominant this team will become.

i hate O$U more than anyone, but this loss is not as bad as everyone is saying. We never get Ohio recruits anyways. And the one we do have, McElroy, is not going to suddenly decide to go to O$U because they beat us tonight. If anything, Mick has a great understanding of this area, and he will make inroads in this state. he is, afterall, a great recruiter.

Does it suck we played them when we had our worst team in 16 years, and their best team ever? Yes. But that's all it is, their best against our worst. It will get better.

Deonta Vaughn is a building block. We will actually have a whole team next year, which should not be underestimated. Can you even imagine a Bearcat team with 10+ players??!! It seems like that has never happened before.

I've been hitting the Yagerbombs tonight, but regardless, I'm still confident in Mick and what he will be able to do with this team.

I'm confident that next year we will be competitive in the Big East. John Williamson is a BEast player of the year candidate next year, and there won't be many guards better than Vaughn. Warren, Williams, Sikes, Adam H, plus 3 fresh faces and who knows, maybe Mick will find two more Vaughn's or JWill's to add to next years roster. I'll take that.

And by the way, the highlight of the game for me was when Connor was mugging Oden on the block and Oden got the foul called against him. That was classic
wow, i only intended for that post to be about 2 sentences long. a little free association and yager can go a long way i guess
