I just wanted to say thank you because of how you are conducting yourselves and for your passion. First off there are not a lot of fan bases in CUSA that really care about their teams and show out and your fans are pretty awesome. I hope you can continue to sell out games and do so in your new stadium too.

The other part is that you all are being classy after today's game. Usually when we play teams win or lose the other fans are butt hurt or being ignorant. Making excuses like we are a bunch of thugs or if we couldn't take props we wouldn't win or the game was gifted The way Miami, OHIO, and Akron acted on their boards after our games was just terrible.

I know someone might try and call me out on some posts I made earlier this week that they deemed classes but I wasn't trying to be. I thought today would happen this way only because you all are behind in recruiting as to be expected.

Given your location, fan passion, and the dedication of your administration in building this program there is no reason that within the next 2-3 seasons you aren't contending for the east.

For as young of a program as you all are you have come a long way in a very short time. I truly believe that with the addition of ODU, MTSU, and WKU the east is going to be a really fun and hard fought division each and every season.

Thank you for your passion and I wish you luck going forward. Are you guys eligible for bowls this season? I know UTSA wasn't last season due to transitional rules.
Good luck. I was impressed that hall filled up section. Most opposing teams don't

I was very impressed with your team, the athletes were unreal. That is the best team ODU has ever faced, IMO. I hope y'all go undefeated and represent the conference well.

I knew offense was good, but man that defense was incredible.

As for this ODU Fan and Alum. I want to thank you for such a classy post. We are just two FBS recruiting classes in. Some of our boys were playing High School last year. I think most of our coaching staff is going through growing pains because this is also their first full season coaching at this level. There is a difference between FBS and FCS for a reason. The Hurd showed that difference today 83 times with each and every one of their players.
I also think CUSA East Division is going to be very competitive in the next five years. I think the strongest recruiting classes in that division is going to show up the West.
I got to speak to a lot of your Fans today and they were are very excited that we are in this division together. I am pulling for the Hurd the rest of the way. Run the Table and carry the Conference Banner into a BCS Bowl.
You guys travel extremely well, and your fanbase is both knowledgeable and classy.
It was inspiring to look over at the visitors section and see it filled with green.

Proud to be in the conference, and proud that you guys are carrying the banner.
04-cheers
I look forward to this developing into a fine cross-border rivalry. You got Randy Moss... We got Verlander!
Go Herd!!!
Thanks for the football lesson today. We'll pay you back in basketball season. Now go win a major bowl game. You guys have the horses. Good luck.
I just want to echo what Bleeds said.

I had a feeling that our RBs would have a field day on your tiny DL. I said in on the CUSA board and will say it here. ODU is a decent team offensively but the DLine is tiny and a little slow. Our RB took advantage of the D being small and a lil slower to beat them to the holes and spots in the secondary.

In a few years if you are able to keep Wilder I think ODU will have something to be proud of in IA.

Good Luck the rest of the way.

Thanks. You definitely will pay us back in basketball i am sure.

I hope you guys win at least 7 and get a bowl due to not enough teams. Glad to have you in the conference. Its awesome seeing a stadium full of fans in cusa. That is something you won't see more often than not.

Good luck Monarchs!
You guys were cocky. I thought too cocky.

I quickly learned why.
Marshall was a great team to watch. By far the best team we've ever played. Ya'll were lots of fun. The Marshall fans were loads of fun at our tailgate. Thanks for being a joy to spend the morning with as we all shared our love for our teams, and of course, food. 04-cheers

For that I thank you.

We hadn't been called cocky, over confident or just plain rude since 2003 basically. When you hear those comments you know something is up that the other schools can't handle. I even had held my tongue from 2005 till the beginning of last year.

The potential is there for ODU to be a really good team.

I think this series has all the makings of a good if not great cross border rivalry. See you in Huntington next year.
