Let's not forget that Al-Qaida was essentially formed thanks to the weapons and training provided by the United States under Reagan to help Bin Laden fight the Soviets.

The country needs to change its stance on giving money and weapons to fringe groups to fight administrations we don't like. All too often the "enemy of our enemy" is not our friend but a future enemy.

Good thing we spent 10 years training the Iraqi army.
