Whatever happened to the larger rocket logo...haven't seen it in a while and thought it looked really cool. It stands out and is easy to see...especially on a TV.
I agree Tampa. I thought the larger rocket looked really cool against Florida last year. Minus the grey units though.
Yes, the helmets against Florida, or even that logo but smaller i think is perfect for the helmet. Sharp, gets to the point, not too tacky. I just didnt like how the old helmet logo (our athletic logo) is dominated by the word rather than the Rocket
As you can see not everybody will be happy... Some like the gadgety stuff. Some like the retro. Some hate the word Toledo on it. Some love it. But as said many times before, if we are winning there is no use in complaining about it. (Not saying anyone recently has) but the EQ staff and players will do what they like. And personally if its practice jerseys and we are winning, then go for it! I do think my favorite ever was what we wore to Arizona and Wyoming in 2012. All white with blue helmet and gold rocket. Yellow helmets never did it for me. Maybe on the all blues would have been cool.

I wonder if central was supposed to wear colored uniforms but forgot them and we had a white jersey lined up that we couldn't wear because of central's colors. I agree wearing a jersey with no white in it with white pants and a white helmet looked awful.
But as the saying goes... who cares as long as we win!

I agree, once the game starts i completely dont care what the jerseys look like. i thought it looked stupid when they ran out on to the field then didnt even really notice the rest of the game that i didnt like them.

I believe there is an old football rule (don't know how it is enforced now) if both teams have the same color (or like color) jerseys, then the home team must change theirs to a different color.

You may have to dig way deep in the rule book to find this one.........
why would people be opposed to the white helmet?
its a neutral color that can be used by any team just like black.
let them market themselves because in the long run it saves city money if a college can get money from a sponsor or uniform deal.

I'd love to see the white helmet with all blue uniforms. Less gold too, maybe. Blue socks. The Rockets would look slick.
