Two. Two SEC teams.

One. One bowl team. In which we scored 40 points and lost by 3 scores.

Really, Mrs. Brown. I respect how you stick up for your underachiever son, but it's getting a little thick.
Imagine that...two Wiki articles that cannot both possibly be true?

Let's just wait until he has 200. Then he can be undisputed champion(?). 04-cheers

I'll never understand why you always feel so compelled to defend Watson.

Look, pre black friday Watson maximized his coaching talent, he reached his ultimate potential as a slightly better than .500 coach. That was his ceiling, a mountaintop he has rarely ascended. I commend him for it. Once the bill for black friday came due he knew rough times were ahead. He could have left then and be remembered a hero but he was conceited enough to think he could win in a situation where no one could have won.

He stayed a season or two too long, built up to much resentment, and then did some really backhanded stuff on the way out the door. That crap he did to himself, we are not wronging him by not forgetting.
I hope Pat Sullivan found somebody to pull the shiv out from between his shoulder blades.

He can still aim low and try to achieve lowest winning percentage, though. It's there for the taking with just a few more terrible seasons.

If you click on Stagg, his wiki has him losing 199 games which is different than that listing.

The AFCA lists 199. They are the people who give out the Amos Alonzo Stagg Award. I'll take them over conflicting wiki articles

Yep. But, to Coach Sullivan's credit, he kept a very personal sucker-punch out of the public eye and never looked back. Speaks immeasurable positive volumes to HIS character.

Yep. I've encountered him a couple of times since that whole bushwhacking, and have had to suppress the urge to apologize to him.

Interesting Mrs. Brown never seems to want to address that.

Come to Legion and catch one from CBC and Co.

The Watson Brown Story - Small town coach becomes the Biggest Loser.

Big question is who would play Brown? We would have to have a young guy play a young Watson and then an older actor later in life.

I'd imagine that only he could/would be willing to play himself at all ages

He's also the guy who won 3 games with 32 seniors, and took us 3-4 years to repair the APR damage he left behind.

Doubtful. He just knows what buttons to push on this board, and this board can't help itself, but to play along.
Tennessee Tech at Northern Iowa. I wonder if the folks in Iowa have realized they will be witnessing history this weekend?
We need to follow the game Saturday.
ESPN: "Losing His Way: How Watson Brown lost more games than any coach in college football history"

http://espn.go.com/college-football/stor...ll-history
Remember he said he built UAB from scratch!!!!!
They've got a name for the winners in the world.

I want a name when I lose.
Watson is the best coach ever all of his losses are the schools fault and the players fault.
I have total faith in Northern Iowa winning that game........probably by 2 TD's or more too!
Aim high.
