I have to say, I love ODU's uniforms so much! They look great on TV and offense already looking sharp. Glad to see the Rice defender ok on the sidelines.
I'm really happy to have ODU in CUSA and think they will be a great team in the years to come. I was hoping with Rice being the defending conference champs the crowd would be a lot bigger for the home opener. Rice offense punching right back though so this could be a crazy game.
Driphus Jackson threw a 31 yard TD, but seemed to have been injured on the play. Hopefully nothing serious. 7-7
Great pass and even better catch. Not sure what happened in the coverage. I hope it's nothing serious as well. Looked like a really awkward angle trying to break his fall. ODU on the attack again moving the ball well.

Watching it on Fox Sports Southwest here in Louisiana. Old Dominion looking salty so far. It'll be interesting to see how Rice rebounds and if they can slow down Heinike.
ODU is off to a strong start.... That applies to their program, season, and CUSA membership..... Gotta love it.

He looks great. Watching him makes me worried about the game against us even more so than I already had been. Rice backup QB has to shake that off and put it behind him. Not great news for Jackson so far, can't lift his left arm above his shoulder.
2nd half defense will be the key for ODU. We rarely have one.
Wright making some great catches. ODU up 14-7 at the end of the first with Rice in the red zone.
Typical ODU game. I think it's clear that if the Monarchs are going to win, they will have to outscore the Owls.
Impressed with both teams. Rice is holding their own with a backup QB. Heinicke looks deadly accurate.

That sounded just like something Madden would say. Games is looking like it's going to be a shootout though.
