I don't see how we could make it happen, but it would look amazing. If everyone in the stadium had one empty seat in between them. That way, 30,000 would APPEAR to be 60,000. If y'all remember the Duke game last year, on the home side, from about the second tunnels all the way to the top, people were pretty spread out. But it APPEARED packed. There were literally 3, 4, and 5 seats in between people, yet it appeared packed. So just one seat in between each person would fill the stadium and wouldn't even be noticeable. Again, don't know how we could make it happen, but it would look awesome. Tactics people, tactics.

EDIT**
Maybe this would be better. If you have tickets on rows 1-40 in prime seating, then you sit normal. But if you're above row 40 in prime seating or if you're in fun zone or end zone seats, then you do the one seat in between everyone tactic!

works great until you ask me to move UP a few rows....
So the guy with midlevel 50 yd line seats ends up on the top row? I bet he ain't going for it.

We fans must sacrifice for the better good!

Let's just get 60,000 people there and call it a day.

Exactly what I was thinking.

But UNTIL then...haha
We would all love to have 60,000 Tiger fans in the Liberty Bowl, but we've never done it. Ever.

Hiccup much?
Issue tickets next year on either even or odd numbers, could make it for fun zone only or change it up. I know you was probably thinking this year.

I'm Far'ed up!!!! with apologies to that yank, Chi-Town Tiger. Yee haw!!!!!
Here's an idea.

Everyone bring a old bulky coat & a hat. When you get to the LB, go to an empty seat, wad up your coat and put your hat on top of it.
It will look like there are several thousand people in the stadium taking a nap.
Everybody just pay one person's way in.

I'm doing something like that times 30...Go to Youth Village and buy tickets for the kids.
You can get 10 kids in for 60 bucks.
Maybe they could just have a bring your Tiger Blow-Up-Doll to the game promotion.
I like it.

You sure?????????

Not only has Memphis exceeded 60,000 in announced attendance not just once but six times:

1996 vs. Tennessee 65,885
1991 vs. Ole Miss 65,483
1992 vs. Tennessee 65,234
1987 vs. Ole Miss 64,187
2000 vs. Tennessee 63,121
2006 vs. Tennessee 61,783
Ahem

I'm pretty sure we have....on more than one occasion.
