I highly doubt you all even play in this bowl, that you will do another Miami swap the B10 or ACC. Send CUSA to Orlando and offer the ACC the Miami Slot. The Orange is a Semi that year and the ACC will have only 10 bowl slots with no Capitol One opportunity and No Bitcoin. I think the ACC probably would want it more than the B10. Thoughts?
I think we'll play here. It's a good location for a lower tier team. I think we'll trade off all our Bahama bowl slots for better opponents in Miami first.

The only time this maneuver would be trotted out is when any P5 had an extra bowl qualified team (not just the ACC). The Miami Bowl would look to grab that team and drop the G-5 opponent. That situation would also arise if an independent looked attractive (like BYU this year). I tend to think the Pac12 would be the most likely to have an extra bowl team--but it could happen on rare occasions to any P5.
One additional missing piece of information on the Miami Bowl is the payout. I have no idea what it is. Could be 1.5 million. Could be $50 and ham sandwich. I'm curious to see where it lands on the payout scale. Its quite clear they didn't grease any palms at ESPN as the Miami Bowl probably has the worst time slot of any bowl this year. Pre Christmas. On a work day. At one in the afternoon. With the deck stacked against it so heavily, don't be surprised if it is the lowest rated bowl of the season. lol...the Mormans are our only hope this year for decent ratings.

I totally agree, I was surprised that the ACC didn't do the Bitcoin those two years. Thus why I think Aresco might try to make the deal with the ACC after the season. Also, ACC does not like to play Pre-Christmas bowls. ACC probably could convince ESPN to move it to Post Christmas. Would be a win-win for both conferences. Only problem I see is that it would be like Bitcoin, the 10th bowl pick.

The bowl we will never fill will be the Bahamas bowl. We will continue to work on Mia match ups, and if and when we have a team send them to Orlando.
