I have been an ODU fan for many years. Four years ago, I switched from Cox to Verizon. last year all games were on Cox. This year they promised 10 Football games would be on T.V. except one (which was last week)would be on Cox.. Now I see where the Rice game (away on Saturday) is being switched from Fox to Cox. the original schedule said 9 games would either be on Fox or WTVZ.
If I knew a Verizon phone number that I could call, and they would do something,03-banghead I would call. Now in addition to Football I have basketball to worry about. I wonder if all Fox games (Football & Basketball) will be carried on Cox.
COX is not blacking out the game from what I understand, that would piss everyone OFF and probably draw some heavy criticism towards ODU as well.

I'm pretty sure you can still view that game on MASN2 on FIOS, COX is doing this so all of their subscribers can see the game.

At least that's what I believe the deal to be. COX is not producing this game.
PS...I may work for one of the companies and share the frustration many of you do. I will add that VZ Wireless is a sponsor of ODU Football and gets billing but plain old Verizon (same company, CEO, Board of Directors) is basically dead to ODU. Just read the latest writeup on ODUSports.com. An entire article to mention that COX is carrying the game and zero information as to how find the game if you have FIOS OR DirecTV.

There are no politics involved though 07-coffee3
Games on FSN are going to be a pain no matter what for those living in Virginia because Comcast owns the main regional sports channel, not Fox. As long as you get MASN2, you are good for this week.

FIOS should give you all the national CUSA games (I get FS1, CBS Sports Net and the Fox College Sports channels) I'm not sure Cox offers Fox College Sports.

Cox does not because Cox is awful. They are the Pepsi of cable companies.

Hey! Try to get a Coke at an ODU game.
Game is on Direct TV channel 635, plus a couple of others in the same range. Wool hoo, gonna be a good Saturday afternoon

MASN2 (channel 579) on FiOS has you covered Saturday. I searched "OLD DOM" in the FiOS guide last night, and the game appeared on the schedule. Just did another search from work to confirm. I'm hoping the Cox/MASN cross-broadcasting will continue for other games.

Not sure if you're in the Richmond area, but the Hampton game was on FiOS channel 10 and a couple future games this season will be on that station. Of course, there is next Friday's game on Fox Sports 1 (583), and the Vanderbilt game will likely be on ESPN3 since their matchup against UMass was broadcast there last week. I think the only game we'll really have to worry about is WKU.
