FIU hosts the Pitt Panthers today at noon. The game can be watched on Fox Sports 1. Pitt is a 25.5 point favorite. I hope FIU can keep it close for the first half. Last week we found more success on offense by starting a true freshman QB (Alex McGough) and true freshman RB (Alex Gardner).

If you are planning on tuning into the game, I'll give you a short description of FIU's strengths and weaknesses so far.

Strengths:
Kickoff and punt returns, pass rush, and the secondary when they aren't falling asleep for a play or two.

Weaknesses:
Run blocking, run blocking, run blocking, 3rd down conversions, goal-line offense, dropped passes, and no successful vertical passes. I would throw play calling in here, but it's hard to tell with a freshman QB playing.

I hope FIU can represent C-USA well this week. Good luck to all C-USA schools today in your games!
Nice sack! Way to start FIU!
FIU got a lot of pressure on Pitt on that opening series

FIU. We are FIU. Thank you.
FIU forces a fumble and recovers when Pitt was inside our 10! Big play!
How do you miss that. WR was wide open. Ugh.
That one hurts. McGough has a rocket arm and sometimes gets a little excited. I'm surprised how good our blocking looks so far.
Freshman, maybe got too juiced seeing Jonnu open :(
Safety!
