Rank 'em from 1-11

Poll closes Tuesday
1. Cincinnati
2. UCF
3. East Carolina
4. Tulane
5. Temple
6. South Florida
7. Houston
8. Memphis
9. Tulsa
10. Connecticut
11. SMU

Houston's a big question mark, but the top 6 are way better than the bottom 4.

3. ECU (We were not going to beat the Roosters with Slive's refs)
4. Memphis (Good showing against UCLA)
5. Navy (I am counting them right now).
6. Temple (Vanderbilt sucks, but you did beat them so there is that)
7. Tulane (Your coach needs to stop letting your quarterback throw so much)
8. USF (Your coach needs to play the good quarterback, rather than that other guy)
9. Houston (Tony Levine needs to go).
10. Tulsa (Blankenship's teams are hard to watch and your quarterback sucks)
11. UConn (It is going to be a long season)
12. SMU (It is unbelievable that SMU is this bad. A good HC hire will put SMU at the top of the league).

I have nothing to base UC on so I'm not including them.

I believe your top is about right. I also believe everyone else needs to take their home team blinders off. Based upon the opponents, location, and results for the first two weeks, Memphis is undisputed at the top, and its not that close.

Says the guy with home team blinders on, lol. Memphis beat a nobody team and lost to a team that barely beat VIRGINIA.

By October 4th, Memphis will be 2-3 with losses to UCLA, Ole Miss, and Cinci and wins over two terrible teams.

I did, I agreed with Husky. But I also have MY RIGHT to call out people who think that ECU is the top team, when they lost by 10 to a team that got their asses handed to them the week before at home. It was a good showing by ECU, but it ranks nowhere near Memphis' away game performance at UCLA.

That is about what I see now also. UC could be the best team..but...evidently they are slow playing everyone. UC is that group on the course that finally putts out an hour after the toss up is over an makes everyone wait in the clubhouse to see who won the money.

your response displays the typical ignorance Im calling out. You are predisposing outcomes of games before they are played. This poll is ranking teams based upon results. But Im sure in your dream world of ignoring reality and just pulling future results out of your ass, you feel better about your team.

Its ironic that you tell people to take their home team blinders off while you continue to wear yours.

You can make a statement at VT next week. But before you count your win, and our loss, you might want to allow the games to be played first,

no blinders. you might notice I dont get on here and overpump my tesm week after week. But the results speak for themselves. You can ignore the results and feel better about yourself, or accept the result as the way things are right now.In other words, live in dream land and feel better about yourself, or pay attention to reality.
To clarify my reasoning for putting Memphis at #1...

This poll is based on ONLY the first two weeks. That is 2 games (at most). No one currently has a marquee win. Every member of the AAC, who has played, has lost at least one game. In my opinion, Memphis looked the most impressive in their loss (given their opponent, where it was played, and how close the score was).

Do I think Memphis will stay at the top as the season progresses - who knows - but as of right now IMO, they are the most impressive team in this conference.

You and I agree on this. I have no idea where Memphis will eventually end up. But based upon the RESULTS of the first two weeks, I believe your list is pretty close. I may have even switched ECU and UCF since UCF lost a heartbreaker, and it appears that if they had swapped QB's earlier, they could have won. And I hope for the sake of the conference that UC is great and ECU can beat VT. Its just unfortunate that some on here are going to have serious butthurt with Memphis being highly ranked.
