So lemme get this straight:

Okie and torch are mad that the FBI is doing its job by investigating a crime that was committed? you guys are borderline insane if you think that someone should not be afforded the same protections as everyone else simply because they are famous.

1. Investigations that result in prosecutions are always done by the police, doesn't matter who the celebs have working for them, the police always have to conduct their own investigation regardless.

2. These are by no means small time crimes. these types of hacks can get 10+ years in prision. Most likely it was the work of several people who have thousands of images that have not been released yet. This same breach also grants access to a lot of other pieces of information. My guess is that what we saw this week is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of the number of victims and the amount of stuff they stole.

3. One of the "victims" was allegedly under the age of 18 when these pictures were taken. So there is that consideration as well.

Do you truly think the FBI would investigate in the case your phone, icloud, computer gets hacked and nude photos of you are plastered all over the internet?

johnny zero sets up a straw man argument because he wants to criticize but can't find legitimate things to gripe about.

as much as I would like to think so photos of me are not worth anywhere near the amount of a photo of a celeb, and again you seem to forget that this wasn't one person who was hacked but probably 100s.

just and FYI some police organization would take a case number and investigate it if you could provide credible evidence that a crime was committed. Plus there are revenge porn laws now. though I must stress that this scenario isn't remotely comparable to your scenario.

If there were over 100 victims and it looks to be an ongoing hacking ring, then yes I think they would. If it was just one celeb victim I do not think the FBI would be doing much.

Wrong. Fbi will investigate any any instance of fraud. They did for me when my identity was stolen.

Stealing your identity allows the person who stole it to commit more crimes. Stealing a picture of you porking some babe doesn't.
