Nothing permanent? Doesn't sound like it so there's that bit of good news. They shouldn't even call it "injuring a knee." They might as well call it what it is, "more time to study." Hope he's well soon. Looked really bad on the field.

any chance they would put Wilcher back on defense? I suppose their is a chance - but wonder if that is more likely if we are that thin at DB/CB

More horrible news. Worst thing about the sport. Injuries are the norm, you just never know when they will strike. We sometimes forget they are putting their life and limb on the line every time they walk onto the field.
At 6'2", Delando Johnson has my vote. At least Missouri doesn't have Green-Beckham to cover this year, that dude was a freak.

johnson is a talent and physically ready, but it seems like he hasn't quite found a position yet. he's had looks at corner and both safety spots, i wonder if he will focus on corner w norrils and cole out?
