For at least this one night.... We did not embarrass the conference. It feels good, and here's to more games where i can say that.

I too hope we have dozens of games where we play like this over the next handful of years. Some of us have been patient, others impatient; but if indeed we're vastly improved; it's been a long hard time getting there.

I also would hope that some of our more vocal fans would be a little restrained in their comments as opposed to some of the comments we've seen lately guaranteeing wins over Houston, etc before we even played a game. Football is a game where emotions, confidence, and the will to win can appear and disappear at odd times and drastically change the outcome of games.
I am impressed with our core of running backs and happy to see Lynch look more comfortable on the field. Let's translate what was accomplish on the field tonight into a better result next Saturday.
Congrats Memphis. It was nice to see that score

yeah, my high school could probably beat austin peay...they need to slow their roll/. the score could be the other way against ucla
Good job, Memphis! Hope y'all have some more great wins in your season ahead (but not against Tulane, of course)

Memo to USF: schedule Austin Peay next year as our FCS opener next year. LOL

Great job Tigers. Fuentes is night and day better than the Rip Scherer days back when we used to play as conference mates.

With Rip we ran up the middle every play.
Was glad to see UCF avoids Memphis this year and Week 1 confirms this

Rip's defense was normally one of the best in the nation... If only he had a good offense.
