well for the first time ever we get to try good coaching. rice is doing well for the same reason tcu and smu improved. they stopped enforcing their admission standards for football players. rice came a couple of points shy of apr violations last year.
Rice is my no 2 team in this league. WKU can go hump a cow.
Don't really have a 2nd favorite team unless it would be Samford.

WKU has been a big recruiting foe the last couple of years.
Can we count on them running the draw play on third down.

There is no second favorite team for me. UAB or bust!
Not my second favorite (I don't have one) but admittedly, I like them a helluva lot more now than I did last year.
