26 UCF
34 Houston
35 Cincinnati
54 ECU
(71 Navy)
85 SMU
87 Tulsa
92 USF
93 Tulane
104 Memphis
107 UConn
114 Temple

CBS was generous on a couple teams , but most of the others seem way too low and are just based on last years results
I think UNC is going to be really good this year.

They have lost 4 starters on D and 11 overall since the summer. They will have a swiss cheese defense again.

I don't. They had a questionable defense already with a decent number of losses due to graduation, and then they've compounded that problem by suspending about 1/2 of their DL. Their offense will be good, but their defense will flat out suck.

Of course. Do you think they sat around intensively scouting 128 teams all summer? All these polls are based mostly off last year, and the amount of returning talent. I know USF won't finish 92nd, based on what I know about team's offseason activities and improvements, but can I base that opinion on last year's results alone, probably not.

These 1-128 polls are nothing more than throwing darts at a board.

How many did ECU lose again?

How many did ECU lose again?

This is since this SUMMER. People seriously do not understand that ECU doesn't use starters in the same way other teams do. You will see soon. Almost everyone on ECU's D has at some point started before.

I am just glad ECU is here to show us other schools how to play football. You guys dominated C-USA every year and I suspect you will do the same here.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Starters start for a reason, and switching in backups to give the starters a breather wasn't invented in Greenville. It's called depth.

Paul Myerberg said it best:

Quote:ECU is thin across the board, both in terms of experience and proven production, and it'll be a cross-your-fingers season barring an unforeseeable amount of growth from some unknown commodities.

I sense sarcasm. However we did win our C-USA games at an 80% clip. Glad to be here as well.

Our leading tackler only had 80 tackles last year, UCF had 2 over 100 tackles alone. We do actually play lots of players on defense and return lots of players with experience.

We pretty much dominated every former C-USA member in this league, including you guys, so sorry that I'm not all that intimidated. The only former C-USA team in this league that even has a winning record against us is USF.
After reading numerous posts....I think I am beginning to hope every team in the conference does well except for one...
Excuse me 60 with out special teams tackles.
THis poll is crap. The ratings are way too low for USF, Memphis and even Temple. What a crock of shiite.

You know that the poll is bull, when they have Marshall at 22; Bowling Green at 43 and N.C. State at 51. N.C. State is turrible.

When you lose to multiple D2 teams and teams like Idaho 1-11 it is what it is. I don't see the big issue there.

We actually finished 24th in CBS's final poll last year and they gave us zero respect even returning the stars of our team, the coaching staff intact, and a lot of upperclassmen experiences.

I don't think I have ever seen a team win 10 games, return the superstars of their team and a lot of a deep team anyway, the entire coaching staff and get as little respect as we have even from places like this that showed us a lot last year.
