ASCS making a mid week stop in West Memphis for the Mid South Shootout. Over 30 Sprintcar are expected.









on a side note this is the exact type of cars that Tony Stewart was driving when the incident occurred. He was originally scheduled to attend before the incident occurred. But who knows we could see a local driver who is making a name in the biog time and maybe even his girl friend may tag along. This just a guess nothing has even been mentioned about either of them coming. But he was the one who was talking up the track to Tony and got him to agree to come in the first place so who knows.

Tony Bruce Jr and the ASCS have announced that Thursday night they will changed the schedule length of the event and will now go "Forty for Shorty" A reference to the nick name of Shorty Chambliss. The regularly scheduled 30 laps event will now be a 40 lap event.
