Cincinnati beat Temple 14-6.
Iowa State lost to West Virginia 37-24.
Upcoming games as postseason play gets underway -

Friday, December 5th -

Bowling Green meets Northern Illinois for the MAC title at 7 Eastern on ESPN2

Saturday, December 6th -

New Hampshire hosts Fordham in the second round of the FCS playoffs at 1 Eastern on ESPN3

Missouri meets Alabama for the SEC title at 4 Eastern on CBS
Missouri is 13th in the latest coaches' poll, 14th in the AP poll.

Cincinnati and Northern Illinois received votes in both polls.
There's a regular season game today too. Iowa State's season comes to a close with a game at Texas Christian.
And Cincinnati is playing Houston in another regular season game. Bearcats lead 7-0 in the first quarter.
Iowa State trails TCU 7-0 in the first quarter.
UC beat Houston 38-31, to finish the season at 9-3 and AAC Tri-Champs.

ISU, now that is a different story, they got throttled by TCU 55-3. I am sure TCU was putting on a show for the committee.

I still think our loss at Iowa State was the one we shouldn't have let get away, darn it.
New Hampshire defeated Fordham 44-19 and faces Chattanooga next.
Missouri lost to Alabama 42-13
Missouri will meet Minnesota in the Citrus Bowl

Cincinnati will meet Virginia Tech in the Military Bowl

And I know these have been mentioned in the other threads, but here are the match-ups involving MAC schools in addition to UT-Arkansas State:

Western Michigan meets Air Force in the Potato Bowl on December 20th at 5:45 Eastern on ESPN

Bowling Green meets South Alabama in the Camellia Bowl on December 20th at 9:15 Eastern, also on ESPN (I wonder if the timeframe will work out OK, or if this one will start on ESPNU or somewhere else. These bowl games can run pretty long sometimes, and both the Western game and the BG game are slotted for ESPN)

Northern Illinois meets Marshall in the Boca Raton Bowl on December 23rd, at 6 Eastern on ESPN

Central Michigan meets Western Kentucky in the Bahamas Bowl on December 24th at noon Eastern on ESPN

And looking ahead to 2015 opponents (again, in addition to Arkansas State)

Arkansas will meet Texas in the Texas Bowl on December 29th
Missouri is 16th in the AP poll, 14th in the coaches' poll.

Northern Illinois and Cincinnati received votes in both polls.

Games this weekend:

Western Michigan meets Air Force in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Saturday at 5:45 Eastern on ESPN (if the New Mexico Bowl, also on ESPN and scheduled to begin at 2:20 Eastern, is over)

Bowling Green meets South Alabama in the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl Saturday at 9:15 on ESPN (assuming the Potato Bowl has ended)

New Hampshire hosts Illinois State in one of the FCS semifinals Saturday at 2 on ESPNU

I'll leave it to people smarter than I am to figure out if the Potato Bowl and the Camellia Bowl (along with the other bowls featuring teams the Rockets have played) deserve a thread of their own or if the scores should be posted in this thread (or not posted at all). FWIW, I'll probably be taking a break from posting for a few days next week.
After the first quarter New Hampshire leads Illinois State 7-3.
New Hampshire just scored a TD and went for two and made it. 15-3 Wildcats early in the second quarter.
New Hampshire leads Illinois State 18-13 early in the fourth quarter.
