Open season if it is broken. "Pull"
State of emergency declared.
My daughter says that there are rumors of a real life purge. That is being planned. Scary.

Or not.

For a guy who likes to throw the term "racist" around a lot, you sure don't give the good people of Ferguson, MO a lot of credit.
It's probably a good move.
Who would be purging whom.

"Law abiding" citizens purging "thugs"

I feel wronged. I'm going to break into a beauty salon and steal hair extensions.
Don't forget the wave acitivator!!
Let's not compare looters to protesters. Clearly they are not the same people.

You have to admit, releasing that video was a stupid move.

I think the way the media has done nothing but let people speculate about the video was stupid, not the release itself.

The release was a good thing. The way the media has gone about playing it and discussing it is where the problem is in my opinion.

The parallels with the Rodney King video are striking. And, just like in the King video what's being put out doesn't show the whole story.

What was good about releasing the video?

What was good about releasing the officers' name? It only placed he and his family in jeopardy, right?!

Its acceptable to smear the officer of "murder" which needs to be proven. But it is not acceptable to release a criminal act that is proven?

Because our police should conduct themselves openly.

Because our police should conduct themselves openly.

But you have to admit the timing is terrible. It caused more unrest and tainted a potential jury pool.

I'm of the opinion that how the video has been presented is the root of the problem. I also blame people in general for being so quick to make up their minds knowing so little but it's always been that way and always will.
Still, I'd rather it be out there than not be.
