Why would your AD want to be AD at Georgia State? Is he being run off?

I think he's a builder, like a start-up guy in the corporate world. MT had a long-term goal when moving up in 1999 of earning our way into C-USA as a permanent home. At the time we were aspiring to build a program like 3 C-USA members identified as successful athletic leaders: USM, ECU, & Louisville. Our path to C-USA didn't happen as envisioned, but Massaro accomplished that goal. Maybe he wants a new start-up type growth challenge.

And MT may need a different AD to lead us to the next level of large & loyal fan base. I appreciate what ODU and UTSA are doing in that aspect.
MT needs a new president.

Yep.

I can't imagine he would actually leave for Georgia State, though if he did things would probably change (for the better?).
Same thing with Missouri's AD. $$$

I conquer. I think McPhee will be leaving within the next year. maybe at the end of this new academic year coming up.
