Te4xas A@M knocked of Texas today so I'm guessing that loss ends Texas' hopes for a BCS bowl. Is their any chance that if we do get selected for the Texas Bowl that we'll play Texas?
Probably not. Texas is probably going to the Holiday or Alamo Bowl or possibly the Cotton Bowl. There are 3 or 4 bowls ahead of the Houston Bowl in the Big 12 pecking order.
It would be great if it happened, but Texas is much higher on the Big 12 pecking order. Texas could end up in the Gator Bowl.

I thought about that, but can the Gator or Sun Bowl pick Texas over the Big 12 championship game runner-up?
